Welcome everyone to the 2019/2020 new school year at Green Oasis School. I hope everyone had a restful and happy holiday and that we are all ready to start a new year with energy and enthusiasm. Welcome back to our existing students, families and staff and a huge welcome to our new members of the GOS community.

 

当我们在假期放松的时候，学校为新学年做了一些重大翻新。正如我们之前发给大家的信息中提到的，学校的体育设施、卫生间和一般区域完成了翻新工作。礼堂正在进行一次大规模的整修。虽然在新学年开学时不会完成，我们很期待在本学年早些时间内见到礼堂崭新登场。

While we were away relaxing, people were very busy at the school preparing for the academic year ahead with some major renovations. As I noted in my last message to you, there has been renovation work on the physical education facilities, bathrooms and general areas in the school. The auditorium is having a major re-fit. While this will not be completed for the opening of the school year, we look forward to its official opening early in the school year.

Another group of people who were working hard of the holidays were our HR Departments. The team were busy finalising travel arrangements and visas and ensuring we had professional and fully qualified staff for the start of the new school year. I would like to say thank you to everyone who gave their time and energy to ensure all staff were ready to start at the beginning of the semester 1.

On that note I would like to introduce our new staff who have joined us this academic year.

It is indeed a pleasure to introduce you to our new teaching staff. I am sure over the coming year everyone will have the opportunity to meet our newest staff members. They have already been at school learning about what makes GOS a unique and exciting place for both students and staff.

On that note I would once again like to say welcome to everyone and wish everyone all the best for the academic year ahead. We know it is going to be exciting year with new projects and new challenges that await both students and staff. This is our final year before we become a dedicated primary and middle school. As the year progresses we will inform you of the progress and innovations that will happen leading up to 2020/2021. We do encourage all our community to become involved in the life of your child at the school. Over the semester we will be informing you can help ensure that GOS continues to live up to its Vision.
